Carbon Consumption in Precious Metal Recovery .. An Industry Survey

Precious metal producing mining companies in the United States, Canada, and South Africa were surveyed on carbon usage practices in the recovery of silver and gold. Responding companies represented CIP/CIL dperations, heap leach operations and combined mill/leach operations. Operational practices and carbon consumption rate measurements are presented, correlating consumption rates with process attributes.
