Abstract

Current world events have demonstrated the use of commercial vehicles, other unconventional modes of transportation and unusual materials as explosives or incendiary weapons, affecting commerce, disrupting cities and even entire societies. Since the implementation of the Organized Crime Control act of 1970 the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has been investigating and studying explosives and incendiary devices and their related effects.
