Abstract

Old Cliffe Hill quarry produces between 4 and 5 million tonnes of crushed granite per year and is located in the county of Leicestershire in the East Midlands region of England. Blasting is carried out with bulk emulsion explosives in combination with either shock-tube or electronic detonators.
