Abstract
Cominco Ltd. has developed a number of innovative technologies for electrowinning. The paper discusses the application of these technologies to the copper industry. Tankhouse and cell design will be discussed in addition to anode cleaning and cathode handling. Specific examples of the application of this technology to the copper industry are cited.
