Abstract

The generation of coal fines is a growing problem which has serious environmental and resource recovery Impact. Several methods of agglomeration are studied including the production of briquettes for the consumer market. Simplified process flow diagrams, "order of magnitude" plant capital cost and operating costs are presented.
