Abstract

THE MODEL LAW previously referred to', in these columns several times, prepared by Engineering Council, to be o ered in any state where legislation is introduced for licensing engineers, is given in abstract below. , Mining engineers throughout the country should watch legislation of this sort and see that the draft prepared by Engineering Council is in the hands of any state legislative committee which proposes to frame a licensing law. So far as this office is informed, the mining engineers are a unit against licensing, but if we must be licensed the most innocuous law that has been submitted is the draft prepared by Engineering Council.
