Abstract

The ongoing controversy over mining and agricultural use of ground water in Arizona underscores the importance of this commodity to both industries. Although the principles presented in this article are fundamental, a method of systematic data collection and interpretation is provided for evaluating a water well by a set of uniform standards common to all areas where ground water is a primary source of supply.
