Abstract

A pattern for providing a large utility, The Detroit Edison Co., with an adequate fuel supply is outlined. From the standpoint of both fuel procurement and utilization, consideration has been given competition relationships, fuel properties as well as operating conditions that must be met to provide dependable service and reliable plant operation.
